Fragrance Poetry (Haiku) inspired by Montale’s Aoud Cuir d’Arabie.

The Pleasant and Unpleasant,
Catch a Memory.

There’s so much to say about this fragrance, yet so little I can say. . .A mix of leather and fecal aromas. . . Translated “Oud Leather of Arabia. . .” Even though it may not be a pleasant smell by itself, like the smell of a camel, it can bring you back mentally to happy times – perhaps on a farm, or on a trip where you got to travel to an exotic place (exotic to those like myself in the USA) where you were surrounded with camels.
