I wanted to find a bouquet
to symbolize our old-fashioned love.
So I brought you blue heliotrope.
But you said you love Jasmine.
Yes, you are soft and smooth
like those petit, white flowers. . .
Maybe slightly sweetened
by an orange.
But I’m a wild. . .animalistic. . .
Or perhaps I’m just tossed. . .
like a grey stone of the ocean.
And your waves have crashed me.
Immersed me
in your high-tide.
I’m embosomed.
and your warm amber
is my tapestry.
