One Last Hill | Poetry Interlude

One Last Hill

This was my one last hill.
I sprinted one last time.
Pushed as hard as I could
Convinced I might die
But I succeeded to the top of the hill

I give a quick glance behind me
To look over everything i accomplished;
On top of this one last hill i conquered
And it feels awesome!

But don’t assume I’m done
There’s still another hill to climb
There’s ALWAYS one last hill to climb
Until the day i die

  1. Breathtaking, that awesome feeling ,at the apex of your life, looking back and how far you’ve come. Savour the joy of being at the highest point of your life. No turning back and another hill to climb. No matter the odds, whether rebuilding, renewal or overcoming may the adventure be sweet and may your cup overflow with peace, happiness, love and joy.
    Bon voyage.

    1. Absolutely. Firstly thanks for your comments, they are always encouraging. But yes, always keep growing. The day you stop growing is when you start growing old, no matter what age you are B-)

      1. Encouraging word to the elderly. Some look back, reflect and say I should have expanded in so many areas, i should be soaring, perched on the highest cliff. But on the bright side, that is their hill if they ready to embrace and live an expanded life. Our hills are our stories, the mountains we must climb are our journeys how awesome if we make it to the top. Keep climbing and expanding. Living an expansive life, stay safe, happy, healthy and loving.

      3. Well the poetry takes us to that place. Thank you. No I’m not posting there at all, just a recent card which I made. I think I shall frame more cards and post there in the future.
