I see you there, savoring a fruit tea
In a coffee shop – You’re such a rebel.
I see you there (please stop staring at me)
In your flocculent, apricot sweater.

You look embraceable – like a pillow,
Like a dream that I could fall down in to.
I’d love to get stuck under your arms, though,
Like I was boxed within your caresses.

You amuse me – but I’ve been pricked often
By the hidden thorns of other roses
That you can’t see until you reach for them.
Tell me, what type of sweet rebel are you?

  1. I just can’t seem to find the notes for Amuze, but I will leave it at that, does it matter. No. The rosy fruit apricot look of the sweater, and wool – flocculent, that sounds so sexy -is the cosiest thread to describe the individual. You really managed to bring out her light funny and witty self in your portrayal. The comical and amusing rebel. I love the name and the spelling of the fragrance. AMUZE, simply beautiful. You outdid the fragrance Jay, I love how you crafted the personality.

      1. But I do, I don’t remember skipping one since following you. I’m captivated by the style, it’s a unique genre and you growing it and it is distinctively you, I really do appreciate this personality of the poet, and over the moon that you appreciate my commentary. Thank you.

      1. Ofcourse I would, if it is good 😅😅
I don’t usually care about what the holy judgemental strangers are thinking about me. Haha if they are so jealous, they can join the fun. I am reminded of the moment when I went to bakery shop to get some nice food with my brother, and charmed the shopkeeper to make some tea for me, even though it was not on the menu. Hehe. It was quite fun.
