Poetry inspired by the fragrance Psychedelic Love from Initio.

So why did I tread into your garden?
Encompassed by the pink heliotrope,
Yellow ylang-ylang and white jasmin –
Twisting together like a tye-dye shirt.
All my friends warned me not to flirt with you;
That those like you will play with my awareness.
That the cleverest poisons are hidden
With light touches of sugary sweetness.
But now I find myself overwhelmed by
By something so soft and pacifying
So why do I taste electricity
An effervescence on my tongue – fizzing.
Feeling so conscious of your love right now.
But something tells me it’s a delusion.

One spray makes your larger, one spray makes you small. But the bottle you bought on discount won’t do anything at all

Some very brilliant lines – oh and the conclusion too! Perhaps I shouldn’t pick lines, the whole poem is so brilliant beautiful.

Oh I love the idea you have, you should really have one made in silk maybe, and wear it.

(But something tells me it’s a delusion.)
This made me feel hollow and empty. Nothing is delusional if you are genuine.
But then the poetry is about psychedelic and it never gives a positive impression, it’s fragile, like it won’t last.
There are others and they are stronger and steadfast…..but I love the gentle mix of colour and fragrance.

usually you can find a color in any fragrance… even if just figurative. It helps to look at fragrances from multiple dimensions B-)

All the colours didn’t feel psychedelic on first impression .
Yes all depends any colour can rise to the call if a fragrance
