Poetry inspired by the perfume Pacific Rock Moss by Goldfield & Banks.

Your hug is like resting down on the grass.
Mixed with sun – citrus – a forever last.
To wake in the morning, here next to you.
So soft and simple – to be in this dream.
Under blankets of musk from your perfume.
And waiting for a plane – waiting to leave.
A wish you’d be mine to hold – forever.
Desires that circle around my mind.
I’ll keep your scent on my skin – wherever –
Take me to this special place – any time.
I wonder when – wonder can l see you?
Or just your memory to return to?

You are very welcome, Jay.
My skills are nowhere as good as yours. You are too modest 😊

From what I’ve read, the founder of Goldfield & Banks moved from Europe to Australia to turn “wherever” into “forever.” 😉 Does it smell more like grass than moss, then?

Haha OK! I know NOTHING about the company!
Maybe it smells somewhere in between, but I don’t think I’ve specifically tried to smell moss, and my goal was to write this by what comes to mind… without looking at the notes…. so it just felt green to me B-)

Great poem! This is my first visit to your blog and I’d never thought of writing a poem to go with a perfume. I’ve never smelled this particular perfume, but your poem makes me want to try it.

Thanks! I’m glad you find something novel about it! 😎 this is a great and classic masculine scent that I’d recommend. I can only write well when the perfume can inspire me 😎
