Poetry inspired by the perfume Sel Marin by Heeley.
Have you been on holiday – lost in bliss?
While anxious to be losing happiness?
Who thought I’d sip Earl Grey at the beach?
Your bergamot blends perfect with the sea.
But sea-weeds hinder me – hinder my reach.
Maybe doubtful thoughts, yes, anxiety.
Well… there’s no twist or end to my story,
Because, at the end, you just have to choose
[Or maybe it’s a form of bravery],
To still enjoy what you know you will lose.
In the beach, at the sea, in my happy place.
Blissful with you, with no moment to waste.
