Orchidee Vanille by Van Cleef and Arpels is Perfume Poetry.

Everybody here wants to come in sweet.
But why not take our time and let love bloom?
Rushing into lust feels so incomplete;
Let’s balance our hearts before we resume.

Poetry inspired by the perfume Orchidee Vanille from Van Cleef & Arpels.

Yesterday was about Vanille Intensee, so I thought it was only appropriate for me to taste Orchidee Vanille today for a side-by-side. So how was it? Well, I found Vanille Intense to be like a bottle of pure vanilla from the pantry – simple, enjoyable, great for layering. Orchidee Vanille, on the other hand, has the same burst of vanilla, but balances it out with an equal dose of floral (vanilla orchid?) which makes it smell much more like an actual perfume. While I appreciate the simplicity of Vanille Intensee, I enjoy more the full and balanced blend within Orchidee Vanille.

  1. “When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful, a miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical. And all the birds in the trees, well they’d be singing so happily, joyfully, playfully watching me.”

    That’s a song, gosh it’s been so many years
    And when i was young i loved the brand Van Cleef and Arpels

    By your word Orchidee Vanille smells exquisite
    Surely does balance the heart, with vintage floral, I’d say for sure

      1. Full of life, that’s what youth is all about
        Sometimes it gets cut, short. I love the freedom I had to sample Van Cleef and Arpels especially on a Friday after college.
