oud for greatness initio fragrance review poetry

I wonder… Does anyone hear my cry?
I’m searching for light among the darkness.
Anoint my head with aloeswood tonight
And infused my soul with gentle sweetness

I awoke in a void of deep darkness
Wondering, “Does anyone hear my cry?”
But one day God saw me, poor and needy
As He studied from heaven with his eye.

He lit up my life like the shining sun.
He made me stronger than I thought He would.
He wiped my tears and healed my broken heart;
Anointed me with fragrant agarwood.

He sprinkled my life with piquant spices:
Imported Nutmeg – Exotic Saffron.
And infused my soul with gentle sweetness
Now I am enviously looked upon.

      1. Oh I get the scnets of all kinds of Oud on a daily basis . You know, I live in one of the Middle East countries and those markets are one of the leading consumers of Oud 😃 it is a favorite among the Arabs and if you step out of the house, you are sure to be met with many who has Oud on their body 😀

      2. hahaha that’s the interesting thing. In the west they would consider Oud a cold weather fragrance. I think it also depends on your skin type. And maybe if you’re trying to cover up any other smells? 🙂

    1. Thanks! I actually had a little less concern with the scents here, but also built inspiration from the bottle and theme of the fragrance. Glad you like it!

      1. It would be cool to be able though… some day? 🤔 Or maybe not. Im sure problems would arise. I will stick with language that captures the essence. 👍🏼
