Dylan Blue Homme by Versace is Perfume Poetry

Fragrance Poetry Inspired by Dylan Blue Homme from Versace.

versace dylan blue fragrance poetry review

Let the tides come and sweep me off my feet,
Lost somewhere between Italy and Greece.
As the sun warms this nouveau ambergris –
The stone from my Medusa of the sea. . .

    1. hahah yes I had fun with this one. I can explain. Versace’s logo is a picture of Medusa. The main ingredient of this one is ambroxan, which is a chemical copy of ambergris. Ambergris is whale vomit that processes in the ocean salt and sun. It hardens like a rock and then smells amazing. It was a great coincidental match

    1. Thanks it had an interesting transition. The main ingredient in this fragrance comes from a whale, but I didn’t want to refer to the woman as a whale πŸ˜‰ so I changed it to beautiful monster. Then I just thought why not use Medusa since that’s Versace’s logo and it fits perfectly into this theme

    1. Haha that’s so cool! Another blogging buddy showed me their post about it. I didn’t know it came from you! I’m going to check it out now!

Somehow I swear I was already following you unless you have two blogs? I noticed this happening a lot lately……. :/

      1. I just submitted. Maybe not fair for me to win since I write about fragrances all the time so there is no challenge. Other people will be more challenged to think in a way they’re not used to πŸ™‚ But I’m happy to be a part of it

    1. haha yes i guess it was toxic but their is written in a more light-hearted “game of love” kind of way. But I have to say I never thought of chocolate writing this! haha

By the way, I’ve a friend who writes poetry. She uses flowers to endorse a point and I thought your poetry and hers are compatible. Would you be interested in a collab of sorts? If not it’s totally fine I just promised I’ll ask =)

      2. Her, for now. I’d love a collab in the future but I’m swamped as of now though I bet it’d be really interesting to see what we come up with later on. Anyways! She doesn’t have a blog and she’s never published a poem publicly but she’d still like to get her ideas out there-baby steps and all of that. If you want to contact her directly, here is her email: Ketieismyname@gmail.com
        (I’m so excited don’t mind me πŸ˜‚)
