My Honey Blossom

My love grows wild but she’s surely true,
Sure to out-do the primmest gardens.
Floating, unexpectedly to you
With her aroma which un-hardens.

Surely sweeter in the sun
Whose heat will magnify her glory
She pulls you in as you walk by
You cannot, by her, be in a hurry

She’s honeysuckle, please beware:
Her charms are sure to catch you
If you stop and stare.

  1. I first thought the Poet was speaking to a variety of wild honeys found across the globe
Until I read honeysuckle – enchanting, pretty and lovely indeed.
