Fragrance Poetry Inspired by Darcy from Parfums de Marly.

She loved shots of citrus in club soda –
Better yet, a glass of pink lemonade.
Always a splash of patchouli perfume
Spritzed onto a signature black outfit.
And all these things, I’m hinted by these
To miss memories floating in the breeze.
She was sharp… spicy… but in a soft way.
Her hand in mine – always reassuring.
And she always had a taste for classics.
A simple, single-stem rose in a vase.
And all these things, you’re hinted by these.
I miss memories floating in the breeze.
And I turn back from my park bench to see
Is that your perfume I smell in the breeze?
