You trod along the lavender estate,
Just like an orange army marches along.
Energy isn’t kind to those who wait
Because viking hearts cannot be captured.

We knew the whole thing would come to a point,
Like triangles, or likes the tips of spears.
But my arrows – I chose not to anoint:
They’ll forever fly free through the white air.

Refresh.. Refresh me like a sprig of mint
With the vivacity of pink peppers.
The out-lander comes to make me submit
But my viking heart cannot be captured.

Parfum Prive (Aftelier) | Perfume Poetry

Poetry inspired by the perfume “Parfum Prive” from Aftelier.

Eve offered an apple, but you, an orange.
It was soft, round but blue as the ocean.
It made me melancholy; I was torn.
But you carried me like square stepping stones.

And yet, it’s your “realness” that empowers
As a spiced life leaves me reminiscing.
You assuaged like a sea of white flowers
And there I relaxed. . .it was beautiful. . .

Do you know that
You’re my honey blossom?
Do you know that
You make it so awesome?

When we’re near
I start to catch your
Sweet, sweet honey, hunny
And the soft, soft blooming
Of you sweet, sweet love for me.

Your loves an ocean
And I’m swimming in it.
All I feel is
Joy when I’m with you.

So warm and fuzzy
I hope our love is circular.
You bring me bright vibes hunny.

If I could pluck you away
From everyone else,
And keep you for myself, I would.

And baby, there is no twist to this.
