Fragrance Poetry inspired by Kalan from Parfums de Marly.
You see every one of my merits
As things to be wanted,
Like imported spices,
Zests, like precious woods
Spritzed with exotic peppers.
And yes, I have the fire,
To make you happy;
To play your game
– and win.
But, in reality
I’m more like a blood orange:
When you cut me
I still bleed red
from this heart of gold
Lend me your affection
Before this heart of gold
hardens to amber.

Fragrance poetry inspired by Layton Exclusif from Parfums de Marly.
Lucid journeys to revision oneself
can begin and end with bewilderment.
So I ventured – down the brown cinnamon trees,
And black-flowered vanilla vines.
The white blooming almonds trees.
And the burning pink-pepper bushes.
Soon I reached where the aloe-woods grow black,
and critters make the dark moss their home.
I unsaddled the horse – set it free.
This was my quest to finish alone.
In the pitch of the forest, I found you.
Your sweet love – Shimmering and Elusive.
I took you by the hand and with just one question. . .
“Are we exclusive?”

Fragrance Poetry inspired by Pegasus from Parfums de Marly.
Today began with my favorite cup.
Coffee with vanilla. . . amaretto.
I’ve been washed clean in white, soapy water.
And now I’m prepared for my last ride home.
Today, we’ve picked out my favorite suit,
Adorned me with white florals, like garland.
And, lain in a coat of silver armor.
Pegasus will carry me to the sun.
