Just to taste…
I look at you. I see you.
I smell your perfume,
Honey and vanilla,
Intoxicating the air.
My mouth waters
At the sight of your lips,
Candied roses.
If only I could bite them. . .
My exotic Queen,
My Turkish delight,
Your eyes,
Your almond eyes,
Your hands,
A warm gourmand.
I’m uncontained.
Just to taste your kiss
Would put me In heaven.

Strangers…. I’m lost in a sea of strangers….
Came searching to find, but what will I find?

It’s New York, the city that never sleeps.
Your intensity – Exhilarating.
Tell me, New York, what secrets do you keep?
Woven between hustling and bustle-ing.

Always somewhere to go – the streets parade
To the vast, quiet refuge in your heart.
The citrus-sun finds a therapeutic shade
By the mossy-oak trees of Central Park.

On a quiet bench, where no one knows you,
To discover if you even know you.

There’s something sexy about sandalwood.
Maybe because it’s so pure and simple?

Like mornings when I hold you in my arm.
A pleasing, natural musk is all around.
Just quiet minutes – let’s do them no harm.
As we’re lying on this soft cotton cloud.

Attractive, in such a comforting way.
This romance, like an old Sinatra song.
Yet. . . you introduce things fresh every day.
Moments like these feel like nothing’s wrong.

But the music stops like the day begins.
There’s a time to leave our shelter within.
