A Brief Detox

It’s not a lot of fun having a cold –
A stuffiness, which everybody knows.
The laying of my head’s appreciated!
But sadly, sweetest scents won’t tease my nose.
I guess, just for a night, I might withhold.

  7. Oh so this is the reason why you never pitched for the party the other night.
    I was wondering what happened to you.
    A cold can be so stubborn, sorry you had to forgo a sweet scent so desirable.
    But detox is the right thing to do especially with a head cold and stuffed nose.

    I can’t remember if I sent you a seasonal greeting. Nevertheless, compliments of the season to you; I hope you’re doing well and feeling a lot better.
