You are the wild
flower in the field
And I embrace you
under and above
Yes, who
I waited for
was you
So taste of the dried
fruits while sick in love
As in the shades of apple
trees, we yield

SoS III: Love Awakens
I fall into her
endless opal eyes
They sizzle me, her
burning bag of myrrh
No jewelry can her
beauty not surpass
A natural love made
perfect in nature
As laying in a bed
of open grass
My heart, a henna
cluster, blooms for her
Left hanging like a
jewel around her thighs
Mississippi Blue
Just for a minute, let me
slide these strings.
It’s been a long day
digging in the dirt
And sometimes we get
dirt inside the heart.
I beg, can one draw near?
With melodies beyond
what we can hear?
I’m hoping that it’s said
I’ve done my part,
Although my body
slowly starts to hurt.
Still, somewhere in this cage
that bird still sings.
The Teacher: I. “Emptiness”
My eyes alway search
for something new
But is there satisfaction?
Not ever.
Tell me, did the sun wait
for you to rise?
Just like the rivers
failed to fill the ocean,
The wind has never
reached its destination.
The sunset never waits
when someone dies
Nor will the earth
remember you.
Simple Comfort
A sandwich, grilled cheese-
A bite which makes
dark clouds subdue-
Yellow sun melts through-
