A gentle healing power of unlocking
Raising like an incense that is cleansing
A short time with you is worth the consideration.

My Honey Blossom

My love grows wild but she’s surely true,
Sure to out-do the primmest gardens.
Floating, unexpectedly to you
With her aroma which un-hardens.

Surely sweeter in the sun
Whose heat will magnify her glory
She pulls you in as you walk by
You cannot, by her, be in a hurry

She’s honeysuckle, please beware:
Her charms are sure to catch you
If you stop and stare.

I Jumped Off the Boat…

I jumped off the boat and swam to the shore.
The woods, the lake, the wind-full mountain air.
The smell of fir trees bathing in the sun.
Breathing leaves me intoxicated – bare.
‘Til all my worries are simply undone.
