Teacher II: The King

To understand
was my expectancy.
But finished books
would never satisfy
There’s meaningless
inside of everything

The more I know,
the more I hate
And that, our fate:
A path, unstraight

I shake my fist,
it won’t change anything
Just grasping for
the wind as it goes by
And I’m left riddled:
Our ascendancy
