I drift into a dream

sometimes at night…
She’s soft and sweet.
And she’s vanilla deep.
Like smoke, dreams slowly
fade to morning light.
I see she’s there then
I fall back to sleep.
the key, unlocking
Prepare the structure, warm and wait a few
‘Cuz patience is the key when you’re burning oud
It takes some practicing to get to know
Requires loving warmth, consistency
The worth is worth all of the hard work, though
Unlocking your hearts inner intimacy
Worth the captivation when surrounding
A gentle healing power of unlocking
Raising like an incense that is cleansing
A short time with you is worth the consideration.

My Honey Blossom
My love grows wild but she’s surely true,
Sure to out-do the primmest gardens.
Floating, unexpectedly to you
With her aroma which un-hardens.
Surely sweeter in the sun
Whose heat will magnify her glory
She pulls you in as you walk by
You cannot, by her, be in a hurry

I jumped off the boat and swam to the shore.
