Sos II: Strangers

Why do you look away,
as one pretends,
From her, the sun-kissed
country girl
Or maybe she’s
a gritty city girl?

Caring for others
from the start,
She’s grown a warm
and passionate heart.

Although she’s not as
prim and proper;
Like them, she’s
not pale skinned and sheltered,
Why keep her like
a stranger from your friends?
